I think this was already posted, but for some reason when I search it I can't find it. So here it is AGAIN!
What do you think of her statement on this alleged "curse"?

Personally I put more on your manager and pr teams and the dedication of the artist. People need to like music cause its good and not just because its someone you like.

I agree. Because whether or not they'll be around to see another album, it shouldn't stop you from supporting. What does their business have to do with you? lol Trust the world will continue to turn regardless of what's going on behind the scenes.
However, in terms of this "Curse" I don't know where it came from because from what I've seen, these decisions to disban or drop acts are just that, DECISIONS!
People say things like "He's into himself" or "He only promotes himself and not his artists"... but as an artist, what are you doing? What about your manager(s), what are they doing to offset this? I get that labels have a tremendous amount of pull to get things off the ground, but I also get the idea that people are also just looking at and wanting the final product without putting in the work (what I call the "Rock-star Syndrome").
