First off, Im starting to dislike BlogTalk Radio shows only because the people that they have hosting these shows will interview an artist or whomever, and there will be too many pregnant pauses. It's just too many awkward pauses that occur that make me, the listener, uncomfortable and not want to listen. *MESSAGE*
NOW... Que said a lot of sh*t in this interview that he didn't explain and I wished he had. I'm mad he put it out there and didn't clean it up. That "light-skin" comment (which I get what he was trying to say) was just too much. If you are going to touch this problem, you need to explain it, make it clean and then move on. He never cleaned it up with informative facts, he started talking about possibly Mike, Rob & Brian being jealous for the talent- WHAT DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH BEING LIGHTER COMPLECTED??? smh So I'm not liking that. "Night 32" <--- *side eye* That was an insult and he (Que) didn't get it.
"I'm not a rapper, I'm like more of an artist" <-- huh?
I love how he said he doesn't want to talk about their relationship anymore. Sometimes you gotta keep things to yourself because if you don't you wont have anything left for yourself.
And who the hell was that 'DeDe' girl? She was going in!!! She was like she's not a Day 26 fan anymore because he's not in the group, lol. Who does that??!! (yes, I know a lot of people aren't messing with D26 because of Que) LOL
And then the interview went off the deep end...
"Is dealing with Diddy like dealing with the Bermuda Triangle?" *DEATH*
They were doing the most to try to get Que to discredit and possibly defame diddy- on air! That joint was crazy. I was like why are they interrogating him? They were pressing him for really personal opinions. This is something that I see popular media personalities and bloggers do. They use what you say (your opinion) and use it as fact to credit their negative views towards whatever it is that they're trying to prove a point to. I thought this interview was about Que and what Que was doing! And they made it into an opportunity to bash Diddy, Bad Boy and their affiliates. Just messed up. They were cutting up when Que disconnected the call. I feel like they were on some "we'll kiss his ass while he's here, but when the air is clear, we'll go in". The girl Dede said that when Diddy was through with Dawn and Kalenna, you wont hear from them "bitches" either.
What people, who get so passionate about Diddy and his business, don't realize is that there's a cut off point in the music industry. It's like an expiration date. You have a life expectancy of about a few years and after that people wont care anymore. There are a few people in this industry that have had real longevity in the business. And another thing, like one of the guys on the show said, the money isn't there anymore. People aren't buying music anymore. Plus, people need to understand that Diddy isn't making money off of music anymore like he used to before. Hence, why the man has ventured off into other things.
They made me slightly mad in this interview. Because it was all one sided. I wished I hadn't gone to bed (by accident) and missed this, cause I would have called the hell in and seriously SET IT OFF- ON AIR! Because they all were yapping at their gums, like they know for a FACT that how they feel was legitimately the reasons for why things fell apart for those individuals that they named. They were totally off base. They were wrong for a lot of stuff that was said- AFTER Que got off the line. Talk about Shady-Sketchiness. smh.
